Keypad Deadbolt & Handle Set Upgrade

A Brookhaven homeowner wanted to replace the dated brass deadbolt and handle set on their front door with something modern and keyless. The original hardware -- an ornate flower-shaped escutcheon with a tarnished brass thumb latch -- still functioned but looked tired against the home's freshly painted blue door. We removed the old hardware and installed a Schlage Camelot keypad deadbolt paired with a matching Schlage Camelot handleset, both in matte black finish. The keypad deadbolt gives the homeowner PIN-code entry so they never have to fumble for keys, and the built-in auto-lock feature engages the deadbolt after 30 seconds. We reused the existing door prep -- no new drilling required -- and programmed two separate user codes plus a one-time guest code for their dog walker. The transformation was immediate: clean matte black hardware against the bold blue door completely refreshed the front entrance. Better security and better curb appeal in about 45 minutes.
