High-Security Key Duplication on the Futura Pro
A Roswell property manager needed 14 copies of a restricted Medeco key for a newly leased office suite -- the kind of key most hardware stores can't touch. We cut every one on our Silca Futura Pro NA, a laser-guided electronic key cutting machine that reads the original key's bitting and produces exact duplicates down to thousandths of an inch. Unlike standard pin-and-tumbler keys that any big-box store can copy, high-security keys like Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, and Abloy use angled cuts and sidebar channels that require precision equipment. The Futura Pro handles them all -- residential, commercial, dimple keys, tubular keys, and even automotive laser-cut sidewinder keys. We cut all 14 copies on-site at the property manager's office in about 25 minutes and tested each one in the lock before handing them over. Every key worked perfectly on the first turn.
